The Red Cross Red Crescent Movement MHPSS Hub announces two upcoming webinars on recent publications developed with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and British Red Cross.
Webinar: MHPSS Capacity Strengthening Framework
On 10 September, the RCRC Movement MHPSS Hub and the International Committee of the Red Cross are co-hosting a webinar on the collaboratively developed, and recently published, MHPSS Capacity Strengthening Framework.
The Framework is intended to align and guide approaches across the RCRC Movement, for volunteers, staff, and partners, however it may also be useful for humanitarian MHPSS organizations outside the RCRC Movement, community-based organisations, governments, and donors.
The webinar will be hosted by Ganna Goloktionova, MHPSS Advisor and Shona Whitton, MHPSS Technical Team Lead, from the MHPSS Hub and Hélène Ely, MHPSS Specialist, from the ICRC.

Webinar: Review of the evidence for MHPSS in emergencies
On 22 October, the RCRC Movement MHPSS Hub, the International Committee of the Red Cross and British Red Cross are hosting a webinar on the recently published Review of the current evidence base for MHPSS in emergencies.
The review was commissioned by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), conducted by the British Red Cross and reviewed and prepared for publication by the RCRC MHPSS Hub for use by partners from the RCRC Movement and broader humanitarian actors, and stakeholders.
The webinar will be moderated by Dr. Sarah Davidson, Chief Mental Health Officer from the British Red Cross, with a short presentation from lead author Dr. Vanessa See Heng Yim, Psychosocial Practitioner from the British Red Cross and followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Vanessa See Heng Yim, Shona Whitton, MHPSS Technical Team Lead from the MHPSS Hub and Dr. Omar Rasheed from the ICRC.
