The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement MHPSS Hub have partnered to produce a series of six short training videos on psychological first aid (PFA) depicting real-life situations of individuals affected by crises and showing how professionals as well as communities can effectively respond to mental health needs during emergencies.
“We are proud to partner with our colleagues from Palestine Red Crescent Society on this and other projects. Their resilience, strength and dedication inspire us all. They continue to provide mental health and psychosocial support under extreme conditions with staff members detained and killed. It is hard to find words to describe the pressure they are under and yet they are doing everything in their power to assist their people in need,” says MHPSS Specialist and MHPSS Hub focal point for the MENA region,” Ahlem Cheffi.
