IFRC Regional Humanitarian Diplomacy Forum 2026

Dr. Carmen Valle-Trabadelo, the Communications, Humanitarian Diplomacy and Research Team Lead, is attending the Regional Humanitarian Diplomacy Forum 2026, hosted by IFRC Regional Office for Europe and Hungarian Red Cross.

The Forum aims to strengthen a shared understanding of humanitarian diplomacy (HD) across Europe and Central Asia and to explore how components of the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement can work more strategically and in alignment with the IFRC Global Humanitarian Diplomacy Strategy.

The Forum offers a platform to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and discuss emerging humanitarian trends and their implications for engagement with states and other key stakeholders in increasingly complex political and operational environments.
