The IFRC Competency Framework for MHPSS Personnel in Emergencies developed by the IFRC MHPSS Surge Workstream outlines the core skills, knowledge and behaviours required for MHPSS personnel to perform effectively in MHPSS roles in IFRC supported emergency responses. It provides a consistent and competency-based approach to the recruitment, selection, learning and development of IFRC Surge MHPSS personnel, to support the IFRC network’s response to emergencies.
