The Icelandic Red Cross psychosocial support to Ukrainian refugees

In early 2022, as a result of the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine international armed conflict, millions of Ukrainians fled to neighbouring countries and beyond.

With support from IFRC and the IFRC Psychosocial Centre, the Icelandic Red Cross offers psychosocial support to Ukranians through a variety of activities and services such as the psychoeducation programme Wellbeing4You, the women’s support group, yoga classes for senior women, music classes for toddlers and more.

The project is funded by EU4Health.
