Partners

The Red Cross Red Crescent Movement MHPSS Hub collaborates with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the IFRC, the ICRC, United Nations’ Agencies, academic and research institutions, donors, international humanitarian organisations, and other stakeholders. Partnerships are essential to the MHPSS Hub, offering extensive networks and valuable resources, including knowledge and connections that collectively help us to promote and support the mental health and psychosocial well-being of people affected by adversity.

Supported by the Danish Red Cross, the MHPSS Hub receives funding from several National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies including Canadian Red Cross, Finnish Red Cross, Japanese Red Cross, Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Hong Kong Branch of the Red Cross Society of China, as well as the IFRC and the ICRC, and donors such as the European Union, United Nations Agencies, the Olympic Refuge Foundation and the European Investment Bank. This support enables the Hub to deliver on its mandate through strong partnerships, global reach and local connections to National Societies.

The Movement MHPSS Hub co-leads (on behalf of the IFRC) and actively collaborates, with the Inter-Agency Standing Committee’s (IASCs) Reference Group for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings. Additionally, the MHPSS Hub serves on the steering committee for the Mental Health Psychosocial Support Network (MHPSS).
