DESCRIPTION:NOTE: the webinar was rescheduled from 28 May to 11 June.\nThis webinar organized by the Red Cross Red Crescent Research Network invites Dr. Abraham Tersugh Kwaghgbah to explore the moderating role of hardiness between secondary traumatic stress and psychosocial wellbeing among humanitarian health workers in Northwestern Nigeria.\nWe will aim to address the following key questions:\n\nWhat are some of the evidence-based interventions that can be used to support humanitarian workers to promote their psychosocial wellbeing?\nCan MHPSS practitioners in the humanitarian sector also be victims of secondary traumatic stress?\nWhat are some of the challenges of conducting research in emergency settings?\n\nThis session will be moderated by MA Sc Julia Noethiger, Specialist in Trauma-Psychotherapy at the Swiss Red Cross and co-chair of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Research Network on MHPSS\nDr. Abraham Tersugh Kwaghgbah\nAbraham Tersugh Kwaghgbah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Benue State University Makurdi in Nigeria. He worked as a Clinical Psychologist for NGOs specifically Doctors Without Borders, Society for Family Health and currently with Ada S.
